  TITLE     HAND PUPPETS
DESCRIPTION     Turn lunch bags into imaginative hand puppets
DETAILS     A great place for creativity! Just look at the paper bag puppets Fandango (movie tickets on line) has created.  I save everything that might be glued on a paper bag and throw it in a big wastebasket.  Young creators can rummage around for something that stimulates their imagination whether it be an animal, a monster, earthling or alien.

Some thoughts for material: Paper shred (hair), wiggly eyes, both  available at craft stores, cotton batting, yarn, fabric, pipe cleaners, tissue paper. My granddaughter decided to make a cat. I  decided to make a rabbit.  We used the glue gun to affix the fur (cotton batting). I think we would have been better off with a brush and craft glue as we needed something spreadable, but this worked well enough. She cut out ears and glued them on as did I.  She drew her face, I cut mine from colored paper. Once we finished, we decided to put on a puppet show.
