| DESCRIPTION | A big, smooth river rock, painted with your choice of image | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| DETAILS | You're not going to find these rocks in a field. Your best bet is a garden supply store, the kind that sells rock. Decide on your design and draw it on the rock in pencil. We did a heart and a star because ours was for our Dad for father's day. We expect him to use it as a paperweight on his desk. He can look at it every day and know we love him and think he's a star. This required a steady hand with the paintbrush. Difficult for a younger child who may find something freeform easier. Several coats of paint may be needed. We have provided heart and star templates The hardware store or a craft store are good places to find little jars of acrylic paint just right for a small job. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
