| DETAILS | Developed by those amazing people at the Lawrence Hall of Science, Sunprints encourage an interest in the photographic process using only sun, water and a bit of imagination. It's also a wonderful way to experience nature as you gather the materials for your print, thinking about how the shapes are going to translate onto your paper. Gathering materials for a project in the garden is one of my grandchildren's favorite activities. The printing process is easy, the directions easy to follow. Place a fern, flower, or other object on the special paper and set it in the sun briefly. Then rinse the paper in water and watch as a beautiful, long lasting image appears.
