Buy paper bags with handles in fall colors at a craft store. Give children a variety of materials with which to decorate these bags - crayons, markers, paint. They can do their own art work. Or, alternatively, scan leaves on your computer, cut them out, paste them on the bags. This can be done in advance or be part of the project.
