DETAILS |

In the summer we hid 16 items in the trees and bushes in our backyard.
Each child got a list of 8 items they were to find and put in the large
paper bags with handles they had been given. Not everything hidden was
to be bagged, it had to rhyme with something on their list. For example:
1. rhymes with "look" 2. rhymes with "bat" etc. The items to be found –
book and hat. This took a little thinking, but again was so successful
the children made up a game of their own for the adults and we learned
something about rhyming words.
